I’m not going to deny it, I love Wynonna Earp. It’s a show that has more heart than Rose did on the Titanic. It’s got the supernatural, a curse, love triangles and LGBTQ representation. I mean seriously, #WayHaught is a healthy, normal couple that I don’t fear dying at the end of every sweeps segment. I don’t know what we did to deserve Emily Andras, but thank you, creative gods.
Season 3 premieres on July 16th at 11pm – if you can stay up that late. I’ve got an early morning schedule.. so it doesn’t work for me. I also have a wife that would be very upset if I watched the DVR episode without her. So, we will be watching it the evening of the 17th. If you miss the 16th and don’t have a DVR, you can always wait until the 20th when it will air on it’s normally scheduled time. Either way, watch the episode on the official airtime or within 48 hours of it. We want ratings to be counted. If you have social media – please give involved and hashtag away. You won’t be alone.
That being said, you need to catch up on Netflix with all the episodes as soon as humanly possible. Seriously, you MUST give this show a chance. In case you want to jump right in on the 16th or the 20, SyFy did a 2-minute recap of the past two seasons.

Bonus points for her ability to get all the big parts of the seasons into those measly two minutes. Also, impressed that she could say Dominique’s name correctly… lord knows I stumble over it constantly. In all seriousness, this show is a wonderful piece of cult classic, need to watch television. It reminds me a lot of the old Xena: Warrior Princess Viewing Parties we used to have. It gives you a sense of community, representation and all around fun. My wife is very picky about what she watches and she loves it. Of course, she was rather upset with me when I told her season 3 is only twelve episodes and then she has to wait until next July. She’s not very patient when she wants something.
